Welcome to the Web site for the Black Cat, at Lye Green.
The Black Cat was first licensed in 1838, church meetings were held in it's sitting room, the village shop was housed in one of the bars and many a local will remember having a haircut in the back 'shed'.
We can't offer you a haircut but we can offer you a great English Breakfast.
We can't offer you a church meeting but we can offer you an excellent function room to have your own meeting, party, christening or wake, darts tournament etc.
We can't offer you a shop BUT we can offer you great homemade food from our new Country Kitchen menu, alongside traditional pub fayre washed down with a pint of the finest Timothy Taylors Landlord.
REAL ALE, REAL FOOD, REAL FIRE, REAL PUB, fantastic garden, large car park come and have a look.
